Fill-In Friday

This is a fill-in Friday Blog Hop hosted by Feeling Beachie. My answers to the questions are underlined.

1. I was probably the only kid in the world who actually drew a map and made plans to runaway to California to live with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Trigger, the Wonder Horse.

2. Pino Grigio is my favorite juice.

3. I never thought I would go hang-gliding until I  vacationed at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and saw the Wright Brothers Memorial there. (Hang gliding was awesome, I’m glad I did it, but I’m extremely glad that I never have to do it again.)

4. I have always wanted to visit Australia, but can’t find a way to travel there and back to the USA by ocean liner because I’m not sure I could spend 24 plus hours trapped in an airplane.

About Loy Cerf

After many years of writing short romance story for magazines and being published in several anthology books, most notably the Adams Media Cup of Comfort series, I decided to start my own blog. Though I'm Ohio born and raised, I've called the Chicago suburbs home for most of my adult life. Married to the same guy for over 40 years, yikes, indeed, we've got two grown kids, one pTiny pTerodactyl grandson, two cats and one big dog. Currently we have no fish and are not in the market for any.

There actually is a cruise that takes you to Australia and New Zealand and back from Seattle. I know this because we almost took it. Of course it takes 72 days. I also don’t like to fly.

  2. Rosey says:

Australia is a long flight, but I’m willing to bet worth every single second. :)

    RE: #4: I could and would…and should….especially knowing I was sailing home.

  4. I’ve always wanted to go hang gliding! It would be awesome.

  5. Love the “juice” answer. I’ve never gone hand gliding but I love para-sailing. I want to go to Australia too but the only way I’d fly is if I was in first class and that would cost a fortune so it’ll likely be a trip I take after we retire.

Australia would be a great place to visit. Hope you get there, Loy. From Toronto, I know they stop in Vancouver and/or Hawaii, so it breaks up the flight. A couple of my clients did that. Yeah; 24 hours on a plane would be really rough! I had the same heroes a s a young child and even had the official Dale Evans cowgirl outfit, complete with horsie on a stick and cap gun. :-) Pinot Grigio is the best! Cheers!

  7. Loy I absolutely agree with #4…I’d go bonkers on a plane ride that long…and guess what’s in my glass right now as i rad this? yup, it’s pinot grigio…Cheers!
