Baby Boomer and a Fill-In Friday

Thanks to Feeling Beachie for hosting this week’s Friday Fill-In. As always my answers to the four questions are underlined.

1. Sometimes I wonder if I should just kidnap my husband, throw him on a cruise ship that goes to Papeete and not worry that such a trip would take all of our life savings and that we’d spend the rest of our years sponging off our children but I know I won’t.

2. Hooking up hyperlinks is very confusing for me.

3. I got my ‘talent’ for storytelling  from my father. His were always so funny.

4. N-E-S-T-L-E’-S,  Nestle’s  makes the very best chocolate. Thanks Jimmy Nelson, Danny O’Day and Farfel.

And now a word from our sponsor!

About Loy Cerf

After many years of writing short romance story for magazines and being published in several anthology books, most notably the Adams Media Cup of Comfort series, I decided to start my own blog. Though I'm Ohio born and raised, I've called the Chicago suburbs home for most of my adult life. Married to the same guy for over 40 years, yikes, indeed, we've got two grown kids, one pTiny pTerodactyl grandson, two cats and one big dog. Currently we have no fish and are not in the market for any.

I was reading some of the other answers in the hop and yours are the best so far, plus you added the Nestle YouTube video.

  2. Judy says:

We are cruising and spending our children’s inheritance so hopefully they will keep us when we run out of money. We just got back from a cruise and have another one planned for August.

  3. I did my first fill in today. Nice and quick, just how I like to end my week! I’m with you on #1!

  4. Claudia says:

Your no. 1 sounds fun, but, yeah, I guess, doing it is a different story. Speaking of… story telling – I wish I could do that.

  5. Joyce says:

What good are kids if you can sponge off of them and give them grief in your old age? Enjoy your cruise.

  6. Love #1…go for it! And yes I remember #4 all too well ;)

  7. But you so should kidnap your husband and head to Tahiti. Think of all the fun you’d have to write about.

  8. I think you should go for #1
